The Woodlands TX Limousine | Our Tips|
There are more options than ever when it comes to makes and models of limousines.
The most popular choice is the standard Lincoln Town Car limousine.
It is a more sophisticated vehicle and can accommodate up to 10 passengers, as well as your bridal gown.
You may also choose a more exotic vehicle that complements your personality as a couple; such as the Hummers, Excursions or Party Buses.
When planning a wedding, it's best to avoid the months of April and May.
This is Prom Season when limos are most sought after.
Most companies require an 8 hour minimum on Saturdays during this time period and you may end up paying more
than anticipated because of the increase in hourly minimums.
A good time to begin your wedding limo shopping is 6 to 9 months before your wedding date.
Delays in your shopping could result in not finding the vehicle of choice.
Most companies do not handle inquiries for service which extend beyond this time period.
Most companies do not offer "pick-up" and "drop-off" service as this only consumes approximately 1 hour of service time.
Limousines are costly business assets; it is not cost effective for limousine services to offer their service for only 1 hour.
Typically a 1 hour rental would consume more than 3 hours after considering travel times and vehicle preparation.
Costs vary based on the type of vehicle you are planning to utilize. Most limousine services have a rental minimum of 4 hours.
A standard 8-10 passenger Lincoln Town Car limousine would cost in the $350-$450 range for the minimum hours required,
while an exotic vehicle, such as a 15-20 passenger Stretch SUV, would cost in the $650-$1,000 range for the minimum hours required.
Prom / Homecoming Tips
Splitting up the limo price can get you a bigger and better limo for the same price per person or less!
If a Hummer Limo costs $2000 but can seat up to 20 people, the cost per person is $100!
This is less than what you will spend on a prom dress, tuxedo or your prom tickets!
Reserve your limousine early! Prom and Homecoming seasons are the busiest time of year for a limousine service.
Successful limousine companies will often have to turn down hundreds of prom / homecoming customers
because there is simply more demand than there are limousines. If you want to receive a nice limo for your special event and not
"whatever is left", book your limo early.
Don't put more people in the limo than it can hold. If a limo is a 10 passenger,
that normally means 10 people MAXIMUM! Also remember you are going to have tuxedos
and dresses on, on a hot day. The more people in the limo, the hotter it will be, even with air conditioning.
Get a confirmation. If you don't have a confirmation for your limousine reservation,
chances of that limo not showing up are considerably greater!
Make sure your group is a responsible group. The person who is associated with the payment of the
reservation should be in charge to prevent extra charges for damages or mishaps.
